The 82nd Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival takes place April 13th through the 15th in historic Piedmont Park close to downtown. As always, it’ll be a grand and festive gathering of art, music, and food under the spring sunshine—and amid the spring fragrance—of the City in a Forest.
An Extravagance of Art
Hundreds of sculptors, painters, potters, photographers, and other artists attend the Atlanta Dogwood Festival every year, its centerpiece being the juried showcase of the Fine Artist Market. The Festival Soundtrack
The Atlanta Dogwood Festival runs from noon to 11 PM on Friday, 10 AM to 11 Pm on Saturday, and 10 AM to 6 PM on Sunday, and throughout there’ll be a steady and diverse supply of awesome music from two festival stages.
The Main Stage will feature such musicians as Connor Christian and Khari Cabral Simmons (Friday), the Wesley Pruitt Band and Shawn Mullins (Saturday), and the Community Music Center of Atlanta and Beau & Luci (Sunday).
Over on the International Stage, meanwhile, you can enjoy a globe-spanning suite of performances courtesy of outfits such as the Whole World Improv Theatre (Friday), the Atlanta Junkanoo Group (Saturday), and the Taiwanese School of Georgia Drum Team (Sunday).
