Experience Alpharetta, Georgia’s Foodtruck Alley
Let that inner foodie of yours take wings—if it hasn’t already—and sample some of the outstanding flavors on offer here in Greater Atlanta over at Alpharetta Food Truck Alley!
A weekly epicurean soiree that runs from spring through early fall, Alpharetta Food Truck Alley serves up some awesome cuisine as well as live entertainment and an all-around jolly good time.
Alpharetta Food Truck Alley: A Thursday Night Tradition
Presented by the City of Alpharetta and Fork in the Road, LLC, this year’s season of Alpharetta Food Truck Alley gets the party going along Old Roswell Street—mere minutes from The Hotel at Avalon—each and every Thursday evening from 5 to 9 PM through October 11th.
Food Truck Alley generally consists of anywhere from seven to 10 food trucks from around the region, always ensuring a great variety of local eats and a mighty festive setting. Adult beverages and other libations are easily procured along Old Roswell Street, and there’s outdoor seating available. Throw in live music (hand-picked by Alpharetta’s music and art hub, Matilda’s), some rather irresistible jumbo games, and an always-festive crowd, and you’ve got all the makings of a fabulous Thursday evening out and about in one of Atlanta’s most happening suburbs!
You can keep tabs on a given week’s Alpharetta Food Truck Alley purveyor and live-music roster (as well as any weather predictions) over at the official Facebook page. This Thursday, August 16th, for example, the enticing-sounding lineup includes Cousins Maine Lobster, Five Finger Philly, 6PackSubs Vietnamese Cuisine, Vego Bistro, Peace of Pita, Sweet Jeanius, Patty Wagon ATL, Kona Ice of North Atlanta, and King of Pops.
